GOD HEALS!!! MIRACLES HAPPEN EVERYDAY:)

OK,   Sorry this is so long but when good things happen they have to be shared:)
My family has been in prayer for the last 48 hours.  Spencer very unexpectedly injured his achilles tendon.  It was acute, it was serious and it was out of nowhere.  On Wed evening after practice he thought it was a little red and that he was getting a rash from his shoes.  He dressed it extra with gauze and practiced regular on Thursday morning.  By Thursday evening when he ran the pain was 10/10.  This meant that Spencer was REALLY hurt.  He never, ever rates anything above a "5" even if he's telling a lie.  He knows anything greater than "5" I'll pull him from the game!!  (b/c I'm the momma and I can do that:)  On Friday morning we headed to the Dr.  Within 30 seconds of the exam he looked at both of us and said we needed an ortho doc.  He told Spencer that MOST likely he had suffered an injury quite some time before to his tendon.  He said it probably had a small tear and now scar tissue had developed.  Scar tissue doesn't stretch and this was causing the sudden onset of pain.  We looked very puzzled b/c it seemed he went from no pain to extreme pain so quickly.... (how could that be)  He actually used the words career ending.  He told him that best case scenario it was a very small tear in his past, minimal scar tissue and possibly after treatment he could be back anywhere from a month to a year.  Worst case, if MRI showed that a tear had been greater than 40% ( how would they know that, if it was healed now?)  anyway, greater than 40% and there was a strong likelihood that his sports career the way he new it would be over.  After I got sick to my stomach and attempted to regroup with my thoughts I had a hundred questions.... I'll edit that out.   I checked out and went to the car to find Spencer crying and an emotional wreck.  This is what he lives and breaths.  He wants nothing more out of life than to play sport.  His dreams to go pro overpower most all else in his life beside his God and his family!  His faith in himself and his abilities is unmatched by most.  We held each other and hugged and I said nothing.  I let him get it all out.....  When he was done I looked him in the eyes, I wiped his tears away and told him God is always in control and that he would be healed from whatever was going on.  He's come way to far and worked way WAY to hard in his short life to have anything stop him now.   First words out of his mouth were, " I need to get to church for prayer" and then he asked to be brought to the healing rooms.
When we got home I found Jaden immediately!!!  He has tremendous faith in God and has a genuine gift of healing through prayer.  Jaden touched Ky's ankle, prayed for healing, thanked God for healing and then kissed his foot.  Ky iced, elevated, took Arnica (a Homeopathic remedy) that we have here and then did more of the same.
It is now Saturday night....  Spencer sent me a text message today while I was at the park with the kids....  It said "mom, you'll never believe this, but all the pain is gone!!!"  I'm walking, I'm pushing on it, I climbed stairs and it doesn't hurt."  I felt exhilarated on the inside.  I txt'd him back and told him to keep praying what he had been praying all day, but now he had to add a Thank-you in front of it!!  I found Jaden on the climbing wall and told him that his prayer was heard and answered with a yes and that Ky's foot was doing awesome and had no pain.  Jaden looked at me with a puzzled look on his face and said... "what you xpect mom, I payed for him you know?"  The faith of a child can never be matched!  CHildren believe that b/c they say it...it is.  He asked God, He thanked God, then he put it out of his mind expecting God would do it.  I spoke with Spencer when I returned home.  I had heard him on the phone with someone and he had said two things that I took issue with.  He said "I think it's getting better."  First off, he can't "think" he has to KNOW.  The mind is a powerful tool and can control many paths to health.  The Bible tells us BY faith we are healed.  He has the faith and he knows it's better. I'm sure there is an element of fear that he would be ridiculed from peers if he said "I'm better b/c so many people prayed for me and laid hands on me."  He also made a comment that he didn't know what to say at practice on Monday.  He said "what am I going to do?  Show up and say false alarm, it really wasn't that bad."  I know there is an element of embarrassment to be a teenager in a world full of peers that have no spiritual relationship with God.  However, I also believe that this is God speaking to Spencer.  His friends all know he is a christian and he has never been afraid to make that fact known.  God has just shown Spencer how powerful he can be.  If Spencer is "tool cool" to be able to share that with his friends than next time God may not be so gracious.  It is my belief that this is a fantastic situation for "the Popular kid, the star athlete" to be able to share a part of his faith to persons that may never other wise have the opportunity to hear!  Miracles do happen, the bible says "On earth as it is in Heaven."  Blessings are poured down to us each and everyday and this weekend the Young house had a bucket load of B :)  I love you all and thank you to those of you who took the time to read all the way through.... I know it was a long one:)

One more!

Kountry Kid gone wild????

What does one do when bored in the country?  One puts oatmeal all over them self and lets the chickens eat on her:)  One must be rather strange to think this is a good idea, b/c one forgets that chickens poop where ever they are:)  When this happens???  I'm sure one's brother will not have such a soles look on his face, will he?

Thank You Jesus!

Sunday     went for a long bike ride!
Monday   went for a 9.1 mile bike ride!
Tuesday   went for a 9.8 mile bike ride! (lot's of hills!)
Wed am   4 POUNDS LESS than I was on Sunday!!!!  YIPPIE!
Wed at 3pm, went to work and stayed until 8am the next day... What does one do to
stay awake for 27 hours you may ask!  That would be correct, one eats to stay awake for
27 hours:)  One eats and eats and eats!
Thursday    get home from work and to scared to look at a scale!  But I did do those blessed stairs!
Friday     Bike ride, maybe 6 miles.  If I'm pulling a 40 lb child behind me that doesn't help to peddle much, does it count for more miles?     Oh yeah, I got on the scale....same as Wed:)  Which is fine!
Saturday!!!  Long long bike ride, with lots of hills!  We'll see what Monday brings on the scale?
